This talk will examine the efficacy of moving from institutionalized DEI programs to a pedagogical framework focused on collective cultural shifts from traditional university spaces where little progress is often made because of gatekeepers and socio-cultural barriers to lasting institutional and cultural change. Thrivance and Kinship will defined and centered as key concepts to help participants think about ways to bring change to their institutions, organizations, and communities.
